Ladder

Dreaming of a ladder is symbolising your "rise" in some aspect of your life, for example career or personal growth.  Take note of how easy or difficult it is to climb the ladder, and if it is in good condition or rickety; does it hold your weight easily or break?

Landslide

A landslide in a dream means that you have been trying to hold back your true feelings and emotions for a long time and that you are now ready to "let go".

Language

Dreaming of speaking in another language is a positive symbolism of understanding people around you and seeing their point of view.

To dream of not understanding what people are saying is a sign that you feel separated from people around you and are unable to relate to them.

Lava

Lava represents bitter, angry feelings which must be released for you to successfully move on.

Leaves

Leaves are symbolic of the passage of time.

Lesbian

For a woman to dream that she is a lesbian doesn't mean she is one, or that she's contemplating being one.  It is a reflection of normal sexuality and nothing to be concerned about.

Letter

Dreaming of receiving a letter is depicting your subconscious mind attempting to get a message to you.  Try to notice what kind of letter it is and what the message is inside.

Library

Libraries represent our memory in dreams and to dream of being in one means there is something in your waking life which you must remember to help you in your present situation.

Lightning

A lightening strike in a dream represents sudden, often traumatic, change in your life.

Litter

To dream of lots of litter lying around means you should "clean up your act".

Living Room

Dreaming of being in your living room is symbolising how you appear to others.  Take note of the condition of the room, and what your visitors in your dream were doing and how they were behaving.  For example, dreaming of being naked in your living room would symbolise that you are too open with people.

Lose

To dream that you lose something and are looking for it is a common anxiety dream and means that something is bothering you in waking life.  What are you afraid of "losing?"  You may be afraid of "losing face" or respect.

Lost

To dream you are lost and you do not know where you are or how to find your way can mean you are feeling overwhelmed by something in waking life, or it can be a warning "not to get in too deep".

Lottery

Dreaming if winning the lottery is a fabulous sign that you are very lucky at the moment and should go out and get a lottery ticket just in case!

Lover

To dream you take a lover when you already have a partner can be a sign of sexual frustration or neglect, or emotional neglect from your partner.
