Creative Action

The Knight of Wands indicates a solid offer or opportunity of some kind, to do with creativity and energy, taking place.  For example someone might offer to sponsor another in some way, and then carry through swiftly by doing so.  There is nothing tentative about the Knight;  whenever he appears, and whatever it is he is offering, he follows through with swift positive action.

The Knight of Wands appears in a reading to announce intentions of some kind, which are going to actively take place by the person who has the intention.  So for example, of a person had made up their mind they were absolutely going to go through with something, this is the card that depicts that decisive action taking place.

The Knight of Cups can also represent an actual person in a reading.  Only a very skilled reader can determine this;  so if the reader is in the beginning stages of learning the Tarot, its probably best to just decipher the meaning.  If the Knight is representing a person in the reading, it could be depicting an adult man in his mid twenties to mid thirties, as men in this age group are often shown as Knights in the Tarot.  The Knight can also depict a younger, very determined or mature man;  and the Knight can also depict a brother.   He would have ruddy skin and fair or red hair and most likely be a fire star sign.

Relationships

The Knight of Wands in a relationship reading indicates a creative and energetic enthusiastic offer being made and swiftly being carried through to fruition.  The Knight can indicate a real person in a reading.

Reversed

The Knight of Wands reversed indicates a person who is unable to take positive creative action, not necessarily because they don't want to, but because circumstances have made it so.  For example, if someone had made plans, but something occurred that made the plans impossible to carry out.
