Sexual Desire, Love, And Choices

The Lovers can manifest itself in a reading in quite a few different ways.  It can indicate that someone has fallen in love, or will fall in love.  In this case, this card is representative of the first stages of sexual attraction and budding affection. 

The card often shows itself in a reading where a person is "torn between two lovers".  This is especially so if depicted with the Three of Swords. 

And lastly, the card can pop up not representing a physical love at all, but perhaps a choice that must be made "between two loves."  It might be that a person has two things they really enjoy doing, but they can only afford to do one of them - therefore, a choice must be made.

Reversed

The Lovers Reversed can indicate the end of a relationship.  Alternatively, it can indicate that a person is obsessed with relationship or has sexual problems.
