The Six of Swords symbolises a person who has clearly identified the turbulence of their situation and is quickly making arrangements to leave the situation and move on to a more safe situation. 

This card depicts a person who is turning their back on a situation or somebody and leaving as soon as can be arranged because things have gotten too difficult to maintain and the person has sensed a lurking danger or risk, ones they aren't prepared to take.

The Six of Swords can be a sign to someone of knowing when to give up, what to turn their back on, and walk away from.
