Avoiding Troubled Waters

The Six of Swords symbolises a person who has clearly identified the turbulence of their situation and is quickly making arrangements to leave the situation and move on to a more safe situation.

This card depicts a person who is turning their back on a situation or somebody and leaving as soon as can be arranged because things have gotten too difficult to maintain and the person has sensed a lurking danger or risk, ones they aren't prepared to take.

The Six of Swords can be a sign to someone of knowing when to give up, what to turn their back on, and walk away from.

Relationships

The Six of Swords in a relationship reading suggests that a person has decided there are dangers or risks in the relationship they aren't prepared to take and they're making arrangements to leave the situation.  However the card can also symbolise a person leaving a "situation" or "issue" behind rather than the actual relationship.

Reversed

The Six of Swords reversed depicts a person going into a dangerous or risky situation with their eyes wide open fully understanding the ramifications, but being prepared to weather the storm anyway.
