Balance And Harmony

Temperance symbolises a harmonious balance in a person's life between work and leisure, the mind and the spirit.  In spiritual terms, this card means there is a balance between the higher self and the ego.  It shows up in people who are very spiritually connected and have a clear understanding of the Universe and their purpose in it.  It can appear to demonstrate the person who is being read understands the circumstances they are in right now and why, and that they accept this lesson from the Universe.

When Temperance appears in a reading, it is a sure sign that the relationship is balanced and harmonious.  The two people in the relationship suit each other's personalities and temperaments and complement each other's personalities.
