Dreamers Online recommends the following Tarot deck for beginners: The classic A.E Waite deck depicted on this site

The Golden Tarot by Kat Black
Heartbreak
The Three of Swords is often known as the "love triangle" card; this is because it often depicts a person who is indeed in such a situation. It is a card which often appears to symbolise a person who is "caught between two lovers", or a person who is unfortunately being betrayed in a romantic or love relationship.
However, the card doesn't necessarily depict romantic relationships. It can also apply to friendships or even working relationships. For example it is a card which can symbolise betrayal of people in many kinds of situations.
This card also appears to simply symbolise deep emotional pain, grief and suffering. It can depict a broken heart; or appear in a reading of someone who has lost a loved one.
Even though the meanings of this card are negative, its important to realise that through this kind of pain we grow. A life without pain is not a life. Although no one wants to go through this kinds of situations, it cannot be denied that they shape who we are, and make us better and stronger.
